Mmmm. Jerky.

Cale and I went down to Ponca to ride some hills to fortify ourselves. We rode three ~16' hills at gasping pace. Then one ~7' hill at super gasp pace.We had so much damn fun riding at such a taxing effort that we thinks we may go down and do it again before the week is out.

Cale liked looking at the Elk in Boxely Valley so that he felt compelled to buy some dead dried ones at the hippy general store and eat them! You can take the hunter out of Greene Co. but you can't take the hunter out of the hunter...or something like that.

Here's Cale at the put-in at about the mid-point of donning a portion of his 12 layers.

Here's Cale fixin' to mount his hand into his famous 7-fingered gloves. But in all seriousness, check out the rocks on that I beam behind him. Some locals told me that the Buffalo was about as high as they had seen it back when we got all that snow about a month ago. The rocks were left there by the water! Could that be? Hmmm. If true...WTF. Nice kit btw.

Props to Jim and his broke wing!

Where is Byron Bironi? Some secret location with Coppola. No doubt.
